Die britische Verbrauchergenossenschaft Co-op rechnet wegen einer Cyberattacke mit entgangenen Gewinnen in H\u00f6he von etwa 120 Millionen Pfund (rund 137 Millionen Euro) im laufenden Gesch\u00e4ftsjahr. Das geht aus dem j\u00fcngsten Halbjahresbericht der Co-operative Group hervor, die vor allem Superm\u00e4rkte in Gro\u00dfbritannien betreibt, unter anderem aber auch Finanzdienstleistungen und Bestattungen anbietet.<\/p>\n

Cyberkriminelle hatten die Daten der etwa 6,5 Millionen Co-op-Mitglieder gestohlen, wie das Unternehmen mitteilte. Als Sicherheitsma\u00dfnahme wurden Teile der IT-Systeme zeitweise heruntergefahren, was zu St\u00f6rungen im Betrieb f\u00fchrte. Wer hinter dem Angriff steckte, war zun\u00e4chst unklar.<\/p>\n

Der Cyberangriff auf Co-op ist nur einer von mehreren, mit denen in den vergangenen Monaten auf gro\u00dfe Unternehmen und Institutionen konfrontiert waren. Der Autobauer Jaguar Land Rover<\/a> musste seinen Betrieb Ende August wegen einer Cyberattacke komplett einstellen. Erst Anfang Oktober wird mit einem Wiederaufnehmen der Produktion gerechnet. Die britische Regierung pr\u00fcft derzeit, wie Zulieferer des Fahrzeugherstellers unterst\u00fctzt werden k\u00f6nnen, um die Zeit zu \u00fcberbr\u00fccken. Auch die Kaufhauskette Marks and Spencer<\/a> und die British Library wurden zu Opfern von Cyberattacken mit massiven Auswirkungen.
