Nur ein Viertel der Internetnutzer in Deutschland traut sich zu, Falschinformationen im Netz zu erkennen. In einer repr\u00e4sentativen Umfrage des Digital-Branchenverbands Bitkom sagten 26 Prozent \u00fcber alle Altersgruppen hinweg, sie seien in der Lage, Fake News zu entlarven.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Die F\u00e4higkeit, den Wahrheitsgehalt von Informationen aus dem Netz richtig einzusch\u00e4tzen, h\u00e4ngt dabei vom Alter ab. Bei den 16- bis 29-J\u00e4hrigen sind es rund ein Drittel (32 Prozent), in der Gruppe ab 75 Jahren nur 7 Prozent.<\/p>\n

Manipulierte Fotos und Videos schwer zu erkennen<\/h2>\n

Schwerer f\u00e4llt den Internetnutzerinnen und -nutzern die \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung visueller Inhalte. Insgesamt nur 17 Prozent wissen nach eigener Aussage, wie man herausfindet, ob ein Bild oder Video manipuliert wurde. Hier messen sich bei den J\u00fcngeren (16 bis 29 Jahre) nur 22 Prozent selbst eine ausreichende Medienkompetenz zu. Bei den \u00c4lteren ab 75 Jahren sinkt der Wert auf elf Prozent.<\/p>\n

Die gro\u00dfe Unsicherheit \u00fcber den Wahrheitsgehalt der Informationen h\u00e4lt aber viele Menschen nicht davon ab, die zweifelhaften Informationen im Netz ohne einen weiteren Faktencheck zu verbreiten. Nicht einmal die H\u00e4lfte (44 Prozent) pr\u00fcft in der Regel die Informationen im Internet, bevor sie die Inhalte teilen. Zwischen 16 und 29 Jahren sind es 48 Prozent, in der Gruppe der Internetnutzerinnen und -nutzer ab 75 Jahren nur 36 Prozent.<\/p>\n
